Vanquish Hardware Protection, the UK’s manufacturer of precision-engineered intumescent kits for rebated hardware in timber fire door assemblies, has confirmed significant expansion plans scheduled for early 2026. The Salisbury-based company has acquired a third warehouse unit located just a few doors from its main headquarters, providing essential capacity to support accelerating production demand.
The new unit will enable Vanquish to relocate its warehousing and packing operations, unlocking vital space within its primary facility. This change is central to the installation of a fourth extrusion line, due for delivery early next year, which will underpin the launch of several new product lines currently undergoing rigorous testing and certification. These additions are designed to support evolving fire-protection requirements across a broader range of applications.

Managing Director David Sutcliffe said the investment marks a major milestone in the company’s strategic growth. He noted that easing existing space constraints strengthens Vanquish’s long-term manufacturing footprint and reinforces its commitment to UK-based production.
The newly obtained unit requires a complete interior fit out, with works expected to conclude by the end of February. Once operational, Vanquish will begin transitioning its warehouse activities and preparing for the installation of the new extrusion capacity.
Sales Director Mike Sutcliffe added that the expanded infrastructure will also support increased diversification, including bespoke intumescent solutions, technical support from concept to delivery, general extrusion capabilities and specialist cutting facilities tailored to specific sizing requirements.
