Satinal S.p.A. has taken another decisive step in reinforcing its global technical ecosystem, hosting its South American Sales Manager for a dedicated training program at the STRATO® EVA production facility in Erba, Italy. The initiative reflects Satinal’s ongoing commitment to align its international operations with the highest manufacturing and customer-support standards established at headquarters.
Over the past years, Satinal has secured a leadership position in the South American safety glass market, a result built not only on product excellence, but also on ongoing investment in skills development. In an industry defined by precision, transparency, and fast-paced technological improvement, Satinal views training as a strategic pillar rather than a supporting element.
The visit was designed and personally coordinated by Marco Bresciani, Shareholder and Head of STRATO® production, ensuring that the South American representative gained direct exposure to the internal logic behind STRATO® EVA film manufacturing. Unlike a procedural tour, the program offered full immersion into the production cycle: material sourcing, extrusion parameters, lamination behavior, optical quality evaluation, and final certification phases.

Being physically present at Italy’s only EVA interlayer production line allowed the visiting manager to observe critical quality checkpoints that differentiate STRATO® films in architectural, façade, and security glazing applications. Every phase, from polymer selection to packaging, underscored Satinal’s central value proposition: consistent mechanical performance, clarity, adhesion reliability, and global supply stability.

To complement the technical deep dive, the training agenda included a review of the company’s international logistics structure. During this stage, the participant examined how STRATO® interlayers are stored, categorized, and dispatched to distribution nodes across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia. The experience highlighted the efficiency of Satinal’s supply chain, an essential advantage when supporting high-spec glass projects with strict deadlines.
Training Focus Areas
The program emphasized key operational and commercial competencies:
- Unified Global Standards
Ensuring identical technical support expertise between headquarters and international hubs, particularly in installation, troubleshooting, and lamination performance analysis. - Customer-Focused Technical Guidance
Strengthening the ability to assist processors, façade specialists, and architects in a consultative capacity, from material selection to in-line optimization. - Innovation Delivery
Accelerating the adoption of updated specifications, new STRATO® variants, and emerging EVA performance enhancements throughout Satinal’s global sales network.

This training format confirms Satinal’s philosophy of glocal operation: combining Italian design and manufacturing rigor with localized market sensitivity and real-time support.
Having firsthand access to STRATO® production and control systems transforms a sales role into a technical advisory one, ultimately enabling Satinal to serve complex architectural and safety glass projects with higher precision and confidence.
