VEKA plc has become the first UK systems house to achieve conformance with the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) for its Windows product set, marking a significant milestone for transparency and trust in construction product data.
Following a rigorous independent assessment, VEKA’s product information management processes, governance and supporting culture were verified against the CCPI’s demanding requirements. The assessment confirms that information relating to VEKA’s windows meets recognised best practice standards for accuracy, clarity, accessibility and consistency, key pillars of the Code.
For specifiers, contractors and supply chain partners, the achievement provides greater confidence that VEKA’s window system information can be relied upon at every stage of the project lifecycle, from early specification and procurement through installation and long-term use. In a sector where the quality and consistency of product information has long been under scrutiny, CCPI conformance signals a clear commitment to responsible practice and risk reduction.
The milestone coincides with VEKA’s 40th anniversary in the UK, underscoring four decades of continued investment in systems, processes and technical support for the market. It also reflects how the business is evolving in line with heightened industry expectations around product information governance.
Commenting on the achievement, Technical Director Paul Kennington highlighted the CCPI’s role in raising standards across construction, reinforcing VEKA’s aim to support the supply chain with clear, accurate and unambiguous information, while encouraging wider adoption of these principles across the industry.
By achieving CCPI conformance, VEKA strengthens its position as a trusted systems partner and contributes to a broader cultural shift toward higher standards in construction product information.
