Vetreria Ascolese has completed a new investment aimed at improving production efficiency and process reliability, selecting RCN SOLUTIONS once again as its technology partner.
Founded in 1982, Vetreria Ascolese operates as a specialist glass processor with a strong focus on custom-made and special glass products, particularly in the field of safety laminated glass. The company’s production strategy is based on limited, non-mass production, with an emphasis on quality control, flexibility, and attention to detail.
As part of a structured production renewal program, Vetreria Ascolese has installed an LIA – Laminating Integrated Automatism – 4+2 laminating machine supplied by RCN SOLUTIONS. The system features four shelves arranged in two independent chambers, complemented by an overhead storage unit with two additional shelves. The fully automatic line has an active processing size of 2800 × 5100 mm and is designed to support higher automation levels while maintaining consistency in laminated glass output.
The investment was made to streamline lamination processes, reduce production times, and support future growth, aligning with the company’s long-term objective of combining craftsmanship with advanced manufacturing technologies.
In parallel, Vetreria Ascolese has adopted REVA BF laminating interlayer, developed by RCN SOLUTIONS. According to the company, the interlayer has addressed previously encountered lamination issues and contributed to improved process stability, helping maximize effective production time.
Today, Vetreria Ascolese is managed by both senior and younger generations of the founding family, continuing the operational direction established by founder Antonio Ascolese while integrating modern automation and digital-ready systems. The latest upgrade reflects the company’s ongoing approach to investing selectively in technology that supports precision manufacturing rather than volume-driven production.
