Stoelzle Glass Group has successfully brought Furnace 1 back into operation at its Częstochowa facility following a fast-tracked glass-to-glass hot repair. The project, launched on 9 March 2026, was completed in just 17 days, with a total duration of 19 days including hot sealing, ensuring uninterrupted customer deliveries throughout the process.
The restart was officially marked during an on-site inauguration on 24 March, attended by company leadership, employees, and key stakeholders. Archbishop Wacław Depo presided over a ceremonial blessing of the upgraded production line, followed by a symbolic start-up.

The modernised furnace enhances Stoelzle’s production flexibility, enabling efficient manufacturing of both flint and coloured glass for premium spirits and food packaging markets. As part of the upgrade, the company also installed a new external cullet dosing system, designed to increase recycled glass usage while reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.
According to CEO Dr. August Grupp, the investment reflects growing market demands for cost efficiency, reliability, and agile supply. The Częstochowa plant remains one of Stoelzle’s most advanced sites, combining high automation with integrated decoration and in-house development capabilities.
