Keylite Roof Windows, part of the Keystone Group, has acquired the Em.glaze and Ray.lux flat glass rooflight ranges from Whitesales Ltd., marking a significant step in the company’s multi-million-pound growth strategy.
The acquisition integrates Whitesales’ flagship flat-glass rooflight products into Keylite’s expanding portfolio of roof-glazing solutions, strengthening its offering across both pitched and flat roof applications.
Keylite and Whitesales have maintained a long-standing commercial relationship, with Keylite acting as the largest reseller of Whitesales’ supply-only flat roof windows for the past 14 years. By bringing these product lines in-house, the companies aim to streamline operations and simplify the supply chain for customers while improving efficiency across distribution and manufacturing.
Alongside the acquisition, the two companies have agreed on a strategic partnership under which Keylite will manage the servicing of Whitesales’ merchant reseller network. This includes roofing merchants, builders’ merchants and online distributors, providing them with a single ordering point through Keylite while maintaining existing products, pricing structures and service standards.
Going forward, Whitesales will concentrate on its bespoke roof glazing systems and concept-to-completion services, while its Em.dome rooflight range will continue to be manufactured and supplied by Whitesales, with merchant orders processed through Keylite.
