Silka has launched a new fixed-price bifold doors package designed to simplify specification and help installers move faster from enquiry to order.
The limited-time offer aims to reduce complexity at the quotation stage by fixing both configuration and pricing. In a market where speed of response can determine whether a project is won or lost, Silka says the initiative is intended to help trade partners close deals more efficiently while maintaining clear margins.
The package introduces a fixed trade price of £899 (€1050) per leaf, combining Silka’s aluminium bifold doors with factory-fitted integral blinds that enhance privacy and convenience for homeowners. By narrowing the available specification and removing pricing variables, the company says installers can provide quicker and more confident quotations.
The offer includes double-glazed units featuring Softcoat Low-E glass and argon gas, supporting improved thermal performance. Installers can also choose from four standard blind colours, creating a consistent, ready-to-quote solution suited to extension and patio replacement projects.
According to Silka, the simplified structure helps eliminate “spec overload” that can slow down the sales process.
Asa McGillian, managing director at Silka, said the company deliberately streamlined the core specification to support installers at the point of sale.
“The industry talks a lot about flexibility. But flexibility without structure slows everything down. It eats into time, margin and confidence at the point of sale,” he said.
The initiative forms part of Silka’s wider SilkaSelect strategy, which focuses on providing installers with clear commercial offers and practical sales support.
