Forel has introduced Advanced Diagnostics 2.0, a software system designed to help glass processors monitor production, manage maintenance and improve plant performance. The focus is on moving from reacting to machine failures towards identifying problems before they cause downtime.
The system organizes information across four levels: Factory Plant, Lines, Machines and Components. Operators can move from an overview of the entire facility to individual components, making it easier to locate issues and understand their impact on production.
Advanced Diagnostics 2.0 combines several tools. Stand-Alone Diagnostics monitors machine alarms, while EDGE Diagnostics provides a complete plant overview with remote access. The Maintenance module supports both planned and unplanned maintenance, helping teams identify what needs attention, where and when.
A dedicated Utilities function tracks energy consumption through data reporting, while Forel AI brings artificial intelligence into operational support.
