Glazerite has strengthened its aluminium offering with the introduction of two new Cortizo systems, reinforcing its strategy to expand in the high-growth aluminium bi-fold and sliding door segment.
The new additions include the Cortizo Bi-Fold Plus Door and the Cortizo 4900 HI Sliding Patio Door, which now sit alongside Glazerite’s existing AluK aluminium range and its core PVCu and composite product portfolio. The expansion is aimed at increasing flexibility for trade customers while improving installation efficiency and end-user performance.
The Cortizo Bi-Fold Plus Door has been designed with a strong focus on installation speed and finish quality. It features ultra-slim sightlines, a smooth bottom-running track system, and a concealed shoot bolt locking mechanism. A key technical feature is its fully adjustable jamb, offering up to 6mm tolerance on both sides, allowing installers to correct alignment more easily and reduce fitting time on site.

The system supports open-in and open-out configurations, with sash sizes up to 3000mm in height and 1200mm in width, and maximum sash weights of 120kg. It also carries PAS24 security certification and delivers thermal performance as low as 0.8 W/m²K, positioning it in the high-efficiency aluminium category.
The Cortizo 4900 HI Sliding Patio Door is positioned for the premium residential and replacement market. It supports larger glazing formats, with sash weights up to 240kg and maximum dimensions of 2200mm by 3000mm. Despite its structural capacity, it maintains a 70mm system depth and achieves U-values as low as 1.2 W/m²K, making it suitable for retrofit projects where minimal internal disruption is required. Its design emphasis is on minimal sightlines and smooth operation, aligning with demand for modern, glass-heavy façades.
According to Glazerite managing director Rob Brearley, the Cortizo range enhances both product appeal and operational efficiency, particularly through simplified installation and reduced call-backs. He highlighted growing demand for aluminium systems, especially in sliding and bi-fold applications.
