Caribbean Launches Anguilla Lite Set-Size Awning To Streamline Residential Solar Shading Solutions

Caribbean has launched the Anguilla Lite, a set-size patio awning designed to make its established Anguilla shading system more accessible for residential projects while maintaining core performance and durability standards. The product is aimed at homeowners and trade installers seeking a premium external shading solution with simplified specification and faster delivery.

The structure is built from heavy-gauge extruded aluminium, finished with a marine-grade powder coating to enhance resistance against corrosion, UV exposure, and long-term outdoor wear. A streamlined full cassette housing protects both the fabric and internal mechanism when the awning is retracted, improving longevity and preserving a clean façade appearance.

Anguilla Lite uses twin spring-tensioned folding arms that ensure consistent fabric tension during extension, helping maintain stability and reduce fabric movement. The system is motorised as standard and operated via remote control, with optional upgrades including integrated LED lighting and infrared heating for enhanced comfort and usability in evening or cooler conditions.

The range is offered in four pre-defined sizes, designed to match common residential openings. Widths span from 3.5m to 4.9m, with 2.5m or 3.0m projection options. This fixed-sizing approach reduces lead times and manufacturing complexity.

Fabric options include six Sattler solution-dyed textiles with TEXgard treatment, while frame finishes are available in Anthracite (RAL 7016ST) and White (RAL 9016).
