Forel, the Italian specialist in flat glass and insulating glass processing machinery, has confirmed its return to FIT Show 2027, significantly increasing its presence after a successful debut at the 2025 exhibition.

Taking place from 18–20 May 2027 at the NEC Birmingham, FIT Show is the UK’s leading trade exhibition for the glass, glazing, window, door, and fenestration industries. Forel has secured a prominent frontline location and more than tripled its exhibition space, reflecting the strong market response it received during its first appearance at the event in 2025.

At FIT Show 2025, Forel introduced its innovative Triple Thin concept, a solution that enables the production of triple insulating glass units (IGUs) using a 1.0mm inner glass pane. The technology attracted considerable attention from IGU manufacturers, glass processors, and systems companies seeking new ways to improve thermal performance while optimising production efficiency.

Building on this momentum, Forel plans to use FIT Show 2027 to showcase its latest machinery developments, reconnect with existing customers, and engage with new prospects across the UK and Ireland. The larger stand will provide greater opportunities for live demonstrations and technical discussions around the future of high-performance glass processing.

Forel’s return to FIT Show also coincides with its 50th anniversary celebrations. Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Vallio di Roncade, Italy, the company designs and manufactures its machinery entirely in-house. Today, Forel operates in more than 70 countries, employs 280 people, maintains four international subsidiaries, and holds 33 active patents, continuing its focus on innovation and global growth.
