glasstec 2026 will bring together global glass industry leaders from 20–23 October 2026 in Düsseldorf, focusing on the technologies and strategies shaping the future of glass manufacturing, processing and applications. With companies from 48 countries already confirming participation, the event will serve as a key meeting point for international decision-makers seeking solutions for decarbonisation, circular economy models and digital transformation.

A central highlight will be glass technology live (gtl) 2026, developed in cooperation with the technical universities of Delft, Darmstadt, Dresden and Bochum. The special exhibition will present research projects, advanced technologies and industrial applications, demonstrating how scientific developments can be transferred into commercially viable solutions for the glass sector.

The glasstec Conference will address major industry challenges through expert discussions covering glass trends, sustainable production, digitalisation and future building applications. The programme will include CircuClarity Two, the Architecture Forum, Glass Melting Pot, Start-Up Sessions and “Handwerk Live” organised by the Federal Association of Glazier Trades (BIV).

New additions for 2026 include Women in Glass, a networking platform supporting greater industry collaboration, and the special show “sicher – innovativ – nachhaltig”, presented with ift Rosenheim, highlighting secure, innovative and sustainable glass solutions for buildings and critical infrastructure.
