IMMMES has successfully completed a major expansion of the water treatment system at Belgian glass processor AID Glass, demonstrating how production capacity can be significantly increased without disrupting day-to-day manufacturing operations.
Following years of reliable performance from its existing IMMMES DTP35 system, AID Glass once again selected IMMMES to upgrade its facility, increasing the total water treatment capacity to 150,000 litres per hour. Rather than replacing the original installation, the project focused on expanding and modernising the existing infrastructure, highlighting the long-term scalability of IMMMES solutions.
The upgrade included the transition from the DTP35 to the DTP70 system, the installation of a new pumping station designed to accommodate future production growth, and a complete hardware and software modernisation. The system was also directly integrated with the plant’s production lines, CNC machining centres and washing machines, while its modular design ensures additional capacity can be added as production requirements evolve.
One of the project’s greatest achievements was that the entire installation and commissioning process was carried out with minimal impact on ongoing production, allowing AID Glass to maintain operational continuity throughout the upgrade.
