VEKA UK has been awarded Large Business of the Year at the Burnley Business Awards 2026, recognising its contribution to the local economy, workforce development and four decades of manufacturing in Burnley.
Presented at Towneley Hall on 9 July 2026, the award celebrates VEKA’s long-standing role as a major employer and manufacturer in the region. Since establishing its UK operation in Burnley in 1986, VEKA has grown into one of the UK’s leading producers of PVC-U window and door systems.
The award highlights the company’s investment in skills, training and responsible manufacturing, alongside its commitment to the local community. As part of its 40th anniversary celebrations, VEKA is also delivering its 40 Good Deeds initiative with Burnley FC in the Community, supporting local volunteering and charitable activities.
