Eurocell Launches SureSpec To Lock In Window And Door Compliance From Spec To Site

Eurocell has introduced SureSpec, a new compliance-led window and door specification model that aims to close one of the biggest gaps in the UK fenestration workflow: the disconnect between design intent and what finally gets installed on site.

Positioned as a fully audited, end-to-end specification system, SureSpec is designed to ensure that the product specified is the same one that is manufactured, delivered, and installed, reducing the risk of late-stage substitutions, missing documentation, or performance mismatches. According to Eurocell, this approach responds directly to increasing regulatory pressure following updates to Building Regulations Parts L, F and Q, as well as the wider impact of the Building Safety Regulator Gateway process on higher-risk residential projects.

The timing is strategic. With specification accuracy under more scrutiny than ever, SureSpec is structured to provide consistent, performance-led documentation across the full project chain. Eurocell says the specifications include verified data relating to thermal performance, reinforcement requirements, carbon information, hardware selection, and testing, helping project teams avoid costly redesigns and compliance delays.

SureSpec is built to support every project stakeholder:

  • Architects receive performance-led NBS specifications with embedded carbon data
  • Surveyors get a complete Eurocell specification including reinforcement, loading and integration requirements
  • Main contractors benefit from locked specifications and clearer accountability across procurement
  • Fabricators receive window-by-window manufacturing drawings to reduce guesswork
  • Installers are supported with practical mini-manuals to ensure consistent execution

What strengthens the model further is an on-site audit, carried out by Eurocell, designed to verify that the installation aligns with the original approved specification. Alongside compliance, the system also targets sustainability readiness by embedding recycling and carbon data, aligned with Eurocell’s closed-loop PVC-U recycling capabilities, supporting future reporting requirements expected under the UK’s incoming Home Energy Model (HEM).
