KI Wall, a division of KI known for architectural wall systems and pod solutions, has announced the strategic acquisition of Custom Glass Products, LLC–Wisconsin (CGP-WI), a long-standing glass fabricator headquartered in Wausau, Wisconsin.
The acquisition is aimed directly at one of the most sensitive areas of modern façade and interior glazing projects: fabrication alignment. In storefront and glass-intensive wall systems, success depends on how accurately glass production supports the system’s design intent, edge quality, cut accuracy, hole locations, and overall fit must match the framing and detailing without on-site improvisation. KI Wall says this closer alignment will deliver greater precision, flexibility, and reliability across its storefront and wall system applications.
By strengthening coordination between system planning and finished glass supply, KI Wall expects improvements in lead time predictability, project-specific customisation, and responsiveness on complex specifications where tolerances are tight and timelines are unforgiving. This matters especially for architects who want a seamless result: clean sightlines, consistent glazing geometry, and details that perform exactly as drawn.
CGP-WI brings decades of experience in producing insulated glass units (IGUs) and monolithic glass, and has supplied KI Wall projects for many years, making this a proven partnership, now elevated into a strategic structure designed for long-term capability growth.
Importantly, CGP-WI will continue operating as a standalone business, with no changes to customer relationships or day-to-day operations. For KI Wall customers, that continuity, combined with stronger internal alignment, supports one clear outcome: more dependable delivery of integrated storefront and glass-focused wall solutions, built to specification and delivered with confidence.
