GIMAV Unveils Official Dates for Vitrum XXIV at Annual Meeting: September 16-19, 2025, Fiera Milano-Rho
The eagerly awaited Vitrum trade show, a beacon for the glass industry, has officially marked its presence on the calendar with the announcement of the dates for its XXIV edition. The revelation was made during the yearly general meeting of GIMAV (Italian Association of Machinery and Accessories for Glass Processing) on February 21, 2024, hosted at the esteemed Forel headquarters in Vallio di Roncade, Treviso, Italy. Set to captivate industry professionals and enthusiasts alike, Vitrum XXIV is scheduled to unfold from September 16 to 19, 2025, at the renowned Fiera Milano-Rho.
At the heart of discussions during the meeting was the pivotal role that Vitrum plays as a global showcase for cutting-edge technologies. Both Italian and international companies converge at this prestigious event, unveiling the latest advancements in the glass processing realm. The significance of Vitrum was underscored by the success of the 2023 edition, which saw a substantial return of visitors post the COVID period. Impressively, over 53 percent of qualified attendees hailed from 90 countries worldwide, with a noteworthy 54 percent representing European countries, 29 percent from Asia, and the remaining 17 percent from the rest of the world.
The hosting venue, Fiera Milano, reported a remarkable growth trend in exhibition attendance in 2024, nearing pre-COVID numbers.
