NSG Group has been awarded Nissan’s Sustainability Certificate at a recent Supplier Appreciation Event held in Nashville, Tennessee, marking an important milestone in the company’s environmental journey within the automotive supply chain.

The certificate was accepted by Erika Cline, Key Account Manager at NSG Pilkington, who represented the collective efforts of NSG’s Automotive Commercial and Sustainability teams. The recognition was based on the Group’s reported environmental performance, with data compiled and submitted by its Sustainability specialists across the organisation.

The application highlighted concrete initiatives focused on reducing CO₂ emissions, improving operational efficiency, and embedding sustainability into daily manufacturing and business practices. These actions directly support **Nissan’s wider sustainability objectives and reflect the growing importance of transparent, measurable progress among Tier 1 suppliers.

Commenting on the achievement, Global Environmental Manager Holger Willmann emphasised that the certificate recognises not only performance metrics, but also the people behind them, those tracking progress, implementing improvements, and driving change on the ground.
