Morley Glass has expanded its Uni-Blinds portfolio with the launch of the motorised SL16MB, a slimline integral Venetian blind engineered specifically for 24mm insulating glass units (IGUs). The new system brings smart-home functionality to the popular ScreenLine SL16 format, responding to growing demand for discreet, technology-driven glazing solutions.

Designed for IGUs with a 16mm cavity, the SL16MB stands out in a market where most integral blind systems require a 20mm cavity. This makes it particularly attractive for retrofit projects, allowing homeowners to upgrade to a motorised integral blind without replacing existing window or door frames.

The system incorporates next-generation brushless motor technology, delivering smooth, precise and near-silent operation. When installed across multiple IGUs, such as bi-fold or sliding door systems, the blinds can be programmed to move in sequence, creating a coordinated and premium visual effect.

End-user control is available via wall-mounted switches, a dedicated remote handset, or smart-home integration with platforms such as Loxone, enabling smartphone and automation-based operation.

Available in nine slat colours, including Agate Grey, Black and Beige, the SL16MB aligns with current interior design trends while maintaining the minimalist appearance expected from slimline integral blinds. To accommodate the motorised system within a 24mm IGU, the slat width has been reduced from 12mm to 10mm, ensuring optimal performance without compromising aesthetics.
