The LiSEC SRP-A is an advanced sealing system developed for the precise application of two-component sealants on insulating glass units, even when handling large and heavy elements. Designed to meet the increasing demands of modern IGU production, the system combines automation, accuracy and process stability in a single, integrated solution.

The SRP-A is built as a modular system, consisting of several transport sections and a vertical sealing bar. Glass units are conveyed using LiSEC’s full-support belt system, which evenly supports the entire unit during transport and significantly reduces stress on the glass. To maintain consistent performance, an integrated cleaning system with scraper units and a rotating brush keeps the support jaws free from sealant residue.

Upstream, a dedicated measuring section records the thickness and build-up of each insulating glass unit. These values, together with data from the depth measuring device, allow the system to calculate the exact amount of sealing material required. The sealant is then applied via a precise cylinder extrusion system and a rotating application head.

Controlled transport is ensured by dynamically moving suction slides, while an additional horizontal roller beam at the outlet stabilizes the unit for easy inspection and removal. The process is completed with automatic corner correction, delivering fast, clean and consistently high-quality sealing results.
