Heritage Trade Frames has announced a major expansion with plans to relocate its entire operation to a new purpose-built 120,000ft² headquarters at Arrow Point in Bolton. The move, expected to complete in July 2026, will bring the company’s PVC-U, composite and aluminium fabrication facilities together under one roof for the first time, with operations set to begin at the new site from January 2027.

Located just 200 metres from Heritage’s current facilities, the development will allow for a seamless transition without disrupting production or customer supply. The relocation marks a significant milestone for the Bolton-based fabricator, which has seen consistent growth in demand across its product range.

Managing Director Paul Culshaw described the project as a major investment in the future of the business, its workforce and the local community. The new headquarters also carries personal significance for Culshaw, as it is being built on the former Tesco site in Horwich where he began his first job at the age of 16.

The facility will feature modern offices, boardrooms and a dedicated training centre across three floors. Sustainability has also been prioritised, with 20% of the roof covered by solar panels, alongside a BREEAM Excellent certification target and EPC A rating.

Once operational, Heritage Trade Frames’ manufacturing capacity will increase to 5,000 frames per week, supporting further growth across its PVC-U, composite and aluminium product ranges, while an expanded transport fleet, including HGVs, will strengthen logistics and delivery operations.
