Keraglass Visionbend: Redefining Curved Glass Production with Precision and Flexibility

Curved glass has become a defining element of modern design and engineering, widely used in architecture, automotive production, home appliances, and interior applications. As demand increases for more complex shapes and higher performance materials, manufacturers are seeking solutions that combine precision, flexibility, and efficiency in a single system.

To meet these requirements, Keraglass has developed Visionbend, an advanced bending and tempering furnace designed to process flat, cylindrical curved, and spherical curved glass within one integrated platform. The system reflects a new generation of industrial equipment focused on versatility and consistent production quality.

At the core of Visionbend is a dual-technology structure that allows manufacturers to adapt production according to specific application needs. This flexibility makes it suitable for both high-volume industrial output and highly specialized architectural projects.

The K-PRESS system is dedicated to spherical bending. It uses a continuous ring mechanism that combines mold and press functions to achieve precise and stable curvature. This technology ensures excellent optical quality and accurate geometry, even when processing thinner glass. Its configurable hood and offset tempering layout help maintain uniform heat distribution, resulting in consistent and repeatable production performance.

For cylindrical bending, the K-ROLL system provides a roller-based solution designed for continuous and efficient production. Keraglass has enhanced traditional roller technology into a more advanced system that improves reliability and ensures consistent repeatability across every piece. This makes it particularly effective for applications requiring cylindrical or multi-radius curved glass with high production efficiency.

One of the key strengths of Visionbend is its flexible configuration. The furnace can operate in a unidirectional setup, using either K-PRESS or K-ROLL technology depending on production requirements. Alternatively, it can be configured in a bidirectional mode, integrating both systems within a shared heating and ventilation zone. This versatility also allows for the processing of flat glass, expanding the system’s industrial applications.

Visionbend supports a wide range of geometries, including cylindrical, multi-radius, and spherical curves, as well as J-shaped and complex freeform designs. It also processes tempered flat glass. With its advanced 500°C convection system, the furnace can handle LOW-E glass with emissivity as low as 0.01, ensuring high performance even with sensitive coated materials.

Applications for curved glass continue to grow across industries. In automotive design, it improves safety and aesthetics. In architecture, it enables fluid and iconic forms. In shower systems, appliances, and refrigeration units, it enhances both functionality and visual appeal.
