Piotr Knast, CEO of Forglass, is taking part in Glass Lyon 2026, held from April 13 to 17 in Lyon. The event is organised alongside the Annual Meeting of the International Commission on Glass and the 18th Conference of the European Society of Glass, bringing together global leaders from science and industry.

During the conference, Knast presented “Decarbonisation by reducing energy consumption using Forglass mixing electrodes® technology in standard and hybrid furnaces.” His presentation focused on practical solutions to lower energy use in glass melting processes while supporting broader decarbonisation goals.

Glass Lyon 2026 continues to serve as a key platform for knowledge exchange, featuring plenary lectures and technical sessions covering innovation, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing. The event highlights the industry’s ongoing transition toward more efficient and environmentally responsible production methods.
