GlassBuild America will welcome Clark County high school students to its Las Vegas trade show on September 25, 2026, as part of the National Glass Association’s (NGA) “See Yourself in Glass” workforce development campaign.
The program is designed to give students direct exposure to careers across the glass and glazing sector, moving beyond classroom-based career guidance through practical demonstrations and contact with industry professionals.
The full-day program will begin with a Career Discovery Tour across the GlassBuild America exhibition floor. Students will visit exhibiting companies and explore career paths spanning glass fabrication, glazing, fenestration, manufacturing, installation, engineering and related technical roles.
Students will also take part in hands-on activities in the Skills Challenge area, providing practical insight into the technical skills required in the industry. The program will conclude with a keynote speaker panel, focused on entering the workforce, preparing for industry careers and understanding available employment pathways.
The initiative is supported by donations to the NGA Foundation, which funds workforce development programs aimed at strengthening the future talent pipeline for the glass and glazing industry.
