Showcase Window and Door to Close Missouri City Facility, Affecting 61 Employees

Showcase Window and Door is set to close its Missouri City, Texas, facility on September 21, 2026, ending operations at the location after 21 years and affecting 61 employees. The closure notice filed with the Texas Workforce Commission identifies the facility at 12613 Citypark Drive, which houses the company’s main office, showroom and Houston sales operations.

Most of the affected positions are in assembly, alongside accounting, management, supervision, driving and outside sales roles.

Showcase was acquired by OpenView Products LLC in November 2020, joining a portfolio that includes Hayfield Window and Door and Richlin Window and Door. OpenView subsequently expanded its Houston presence, opening a 130,000-square-foot production facility in June 2022. It remains unclear whether the Missouri City closure will affect the Showcase brand’s wider operations or other OpenView companies.

The closure also follows customer complaints concerning warranty and product-service issues. The Better Business Bureau currently lists Showcase with an F rating, citing six complaints, five of which the company reportedly failed to answer. Complaints filed between June 2024 and August 2025 include delayed warranty repairs, difficulties obtaining replacement windows, defective units, cracked glass, vinyl peeling and condensation between insulating glass lites.
