Pennekamp’s 4-Axis Servo Stacker LS 800 FAST 25Z is designed to deliver precise bottle handling on high-capacity glass production lines operating at up to 800 bottles per minute (BPM) while achieving up to 25 stacking cycles per minute.
The system’s four independently controlled servo axes optimise forward, lateral, compensation and lifting movements individually, ensuring each stacking cycle is precisely adapted to production requirements. A dedicated compensation axis significantly reduces unwanted bottle movement during transfer, improving stability for lightweight, tall and unstable glass containers while reducing the risk of damage.
To maximise throughput, the fourth servo axis independently raises the stacker bar during the return stroke using only the required lifting height. This increases the available time for the forward movement, enabling faster cycle times without compromising positioning accuracy. Precise servo control also ensures highly repeatable stacking cycles, supporting consistent production quality at high speeds.
Despite its performance, the LS 800 FAST requires an installation area of only approximately 850 × 850 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained production facilities.
