Uniglass has expanded its machinery offering with the launch of a new portfolio of glass washing solutions, adding glass washers to the same digital platform already used for configuring insulated glass (IG) and tempering production lines.
The new range covers washing requirements from standard glass sizes to jumbo glass processing, enabling manufacturers to compare equipment, review specifications, and configure suitable solutions through a single platform. By integrating glass washers into its existing system, Uniglass simplifies equipment selection and quotation, reducing the need to work with multiple suppliers.
Designed as high-performance stand-alone machines, the glass washers can also be integrated into existing production lines. This allows processors to install the equipment independently or connect it with broader manufacturing systems as production requirements evolve.
The washing systems are engineered to provide consistent cleaning and drying while ensuring stable and gentle glass handling throughout the process. Proper surface preparation supports downstream applications including coating, laminating, tempering, and insulated glass manufacturing, helping reduce defects and improve production quality.
The portfolio is suitable for a variety of glass types and processing applications while incorporating optimized water, energy, and resource consumption. According to Pyry Ollonqvist, the expansion enables customers to configure more production equipment through a single platform while maintaining a transparent and streamlined purchasing process.
