Reynaers Aluminium UK has launched a new GQA-accredited training course designed to enhance technical competency in the fabrication and installation of its aluminium window systems. The “Reynaers Windows Systems Overview” forms part of a wider training strategy aimed at improving skills and knowledge across the supply chain, ensuring consistent quality and compliance in the delivery of its premium systems.
The theory-based programme focuses on four key window systems, SlimLine 38, SlimLine 68, ConceptSystem 77, and MasterLine 8. It provides detailed technical guidance on best practice fabrication and installation methods, helping participants improve accuracy, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Key topics include fixing strategies, achieving flush-fit detailing, and preparing systems for double and triple glazing units. The course also examines how different glazing configurations influence thermal performance, weight loads, and hardware requirements, alongside the importance of correct fixing positions to ensure long-term alignment and durability.

The training additionally addresses the impact of the Building Safety Act (BSA) on glazing and window system specification, supporting fabricators and installers in working confidently within evolving regulatory frameworks. It also includes insights into system-level testing and certification requirements.
According to Paul Guest, the initiative is designed to provide comprehensive support and ensure systems are installed as intended, reinforcing performance, compliance, and reliability across all projects.
Reynaers also continues to expand its wider training offering, including free “R” module courses covering product-specific training, digital tools, fabrication techniques, and site-based learning. Delivered by experienced trainers with over 35 years of industry expertise, the GQA-accredited course is available free of charge at the Reynaers Knowledge Centre in Birmingham.
