TUROMAS, the Rubielos de Mora–based manufacturer specialising in machinery for the storage, loading and cutting of flat glass, has formally presented its €1.5 million investment project to regional and provincial authorities in Aragon. The initiative marks a decisive step in consolidating the company’s industrial growth and reinforcing its production capacity.
The project was introduced during an official visit by representatives of the Government of Aragon and the Provincial Council of Teruel, who were given a first-hand overview of TUROMAS’ expansion strategy. The investment plan, subject to approval of support from the Just Transition Fund and the Fondo de Inversiones de Teruel (FITE), centres on the construction of a new 2,000-square-metre industrial warehouse designed to accommodate an additional production line.

Alongside the new facility, the company will modernise its office infrastructure to better align with the operational needs of an internationally active industrial group. The expansion is expected to increase output capacity, streamline manufacturing processes and improve coordination between technical and administrative departments.
Beyond physical growth, TUROMAS plans to establish new companies within its group structure, including a business focused on complementary glass and metal products. This strategic diversification aims to broaden its portfolio and strengthen industrial synergies.
Recognised as a project of regional interest, the initiative is projected to create 15 direct jobs, while also stimulating indirect employment across local suppliers. Through this investment, TUROMAS reinforces its commitment to rural industrial development, innovation and long-term sustainability in the Gúdar-Javalambre region.
