TK has completed the installation of a CT 360 chemical tempering plant in North America, marking one of the largest systems of its kind currently in operation in the region.
The project centres on a high-capacity line engineered to process jumbo glass formats, with the plant measuring 22 metres in length and 8 metres in height. Designed for large-scale industrial use, the system features a salt bath capacity of 43 tons of KNO₃, enabling continuous processing of oversized glass sheets up to 2500 mm x 4000 mm.

The installation was carried out entirely by TK’s in-house engineering team, covering mechanical assembly, system integration, and commissioning. Following installation, the company delivered on-site technical training to ensure operational readiness and process control from the outset.
The CT 360 line is configured to support high-volume production while maintaining strict process stability. Its scale allows manufacturers to handle large architectural glass elements requiring uniform surface compression across extended dimensions.

This installation expands production capabilities for chemically tempered glass in North America, particularly in applications where large formats and high strength are required without distortion. The system has been engineered to operate with consistent thermal and chemical conditions across the bath, supporting repeatable results in demanding production environments.
With the CT 360 now fully operational, the facility is equipped to process jumbo glass at industrial scale, supported by a system designed for long-term reliability and continuous operation.
