Innovation thrives where bold ideas meet powerful industry networks, and glasstec 2026 is creating exactly that environment for young companies. Taking place from 20 to 23 October 2026 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, the world’s leading glass trade fair is once again opening its doors to start-ups through two dedicated participation formats: the START-UP ZONE and the BMWE YOUNG INNOVATORS joint stand.

The BMWE YOUNG INNOVATORS programme is a grant scheme supported by the Federal German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, designed for young, innovative companies headquartered in Germany. Selected participants can benefit from up to 60% co-funding of stand rental and construction costs, significantly lowering the barrier to exhibiting at an international flagship event.
Complementing this, the START-UP ZONE is tailored for both German and international start-ups with disruptive products, technologies, or business models. Beyond exhibition space, participants receive a bundled service package including media visibility, lead-generation support, and early integration into glasstec’s communication campaigns.
Companies in both formats consider stage presentations within the glasstec Conference and gain direct exposure to decision-makers from industry, research, and policy. With over 1,250 exhibitors and tens of thousands of international trade visitors, glasstec offers a powerful launchpad for scalable growth.

Applications are open until 15 June 2026, with a limited number of slots available.
