Sphinx Glass, a key player in the glass manufacturing industry, collaborates with DFI to introduce cutting-edge Diamon-Fusion® glass coating technology.
Sphinx Glass, a prominent Cairo-based float glass manufacturer, has forged a strategic partnership with DFI, unveiling an exclusive distribution agreement for the introduction of Diamon-Fusion® glass coating technology. This revolutionary technology, known for its ultra-thin and invisible coating, chemically bonds to glass, imparting high performance, hygiene, and water-repellent properties. Sphinx Glass, established in 2008, stands as Egypt’s sole fully independent glass manufacturer, celebrated for its commitment to superior quality, advanced manufacturing, and a comprehensive product range spanning architectural, decorative, home appliances, solar, and automotive industries.
The newly established collaboration with DFI empowers Sphinx Glass to bring the world-renowned Diamon-Fusion® coating to Egypt and the broader North African Mediterranean region. Mohamed Khattab, CEO at Sphinx Glass, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the alignment of values and a shared vision for customer-centric solutions. Guillermo Seta, Vice President of Global Business Development at DFI, echoed the sentiment, foreseeing immense potential for future growth in the region.
DFI’s patented FuseCube™ glass coating machine plays a pivotal role in applying Diamon-Fusion® through a proprietary chemical vapor deposition process. This ensures double-sided coverage, uniform application, and an exceptional coating quality. Diamon-Fusion®, characterized by UV resistance and longevity, eliminates the need for aftercare products and comes with a lifetime warranty on residential surfaces and a 15-year warranty on commercial surfaces. Much like a non-stick cooking pan, surfaces treated with Diamon-Fusion® become easier to clean, require less maintenance, and promote a hygienic environment by reducing mold and bacteria buildup.
Sphinx Glass, recognized for its state-of-the-art production facility with an annual capacity of 220,000 tons, is poised to deliver Diamon-Fusion®’s innovative features and unmatched quality to its diverse customer base. The partnership signifies a mutual commitment to advancing glass protection standards and providing sustainable, high-performing solutions for various industries.
