ML System has signed a three-year exclusive cooperation agreement with Sisecam in Turkey, which includes brokerage of BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) solutions developed by ML System, the company announced.
As part of the cooperation, Sisecam will launch a new product line called “Sisecam BIPV by ML System”, based on the ML System Photonwall collection. The official premiere of this line took place at last week’s BAU trade fair in Munich, it was announced.
“The partnership with Sisecam is the result of R&D work and several years of cooperation and building relationships. The technological audits conducted by Sisecam confirmed the highest standard of our production plant, the quality of the offered products and the market attractiveness of ML System products. The signed agreement proves how important a role Sisecam assigns to sustainable development and expanding the portfolio with innovative solutions adapted to current market needs. We are pleased that our efforts and the jointly chosen direction have resulted in this agreement. Thanks to it, in cooperation with such a renowned partner, we will jointly develop and promote the use of renewable energy sources in architectural solutions on the Turkish market,” said ML System CEO Edyta Stanek, quoted in the release.
The PhotonWall line of photovoltaic facade panels is an important element of ML System’s strategy, focused on the development of serial products, it was emphasized.
Sisecam is the largest manufacturer of flat glass in Europe and the fifth largest in the world. The company operates in over 150 countries, constantly developing its offer and technologies, as well as undertaking initiatives for sustainable development, it was indicated.
ML System is a specialized technology company offering innovative photovoltaic solutions integrated with construction (BIPV). ML System products are an alternative to traditional building materials. The company has been listed on the main market of the WSE since 2018. In 2023, it had PLN 193.3 million in consolidated revenues.
