LiSEC: The HUB MEI Driving Growth and Innovation Across the Middle East & India

LiSEC has taken a major strategic step toward strengthening its global presence with the establishment of the MEI (Middle East and India) HUB, a regional center designed to support long-term growth, innovation, and closer customer engagement across one of the world’s most dynamic markets.

The HUB has been led by Johann Stöger since January 2024, bringing more than two decades of company experience to the role. Since April 2025, he has been joined by Ignatius Dias, Managing Director of LiSEC Middle East, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building a strong and sustainable regional structure.

Serving 23 countries, including key markets such as India, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey, the HUB MEI plays a central role in LiSEC’s global strategy. With roughly a quarter of the world’s population living in this region, the company sees strong long-term potential driven by urbanisation, industrial growth, and major construction activity.

Operationally, the HUB integrates two regional branches: LiSEC Turkey (LTR), focused mainly on operational logistics such as customs clearance and spare-parts distribution, and LiSEC Middle East (LAE), responsible for centralised spare-parts processing. This coordinated structure enables faster service delivery while maintaining flexibility to respond to specific regional requirements. The recent appointment of Aykut Erdem to the sales team further supports LiSEC’s strategy to strengthen customer proximity and expand its market reach.

Looking ahead to 2030, the HUB MEI is pursuing an ambitious growth plan based on expanding sales and service teams while adapting products for emerging markets. Alongside high-end glass processing solutions, LiSEC is introducing more accessible options such as LiTROS, designed to support customers entering advanced glass manufacturing.

The region’s ongoing construction boom, particularly in cities such as Dubai, Jeddah, and Riyadh, continues to drive demand for sophisticated façade projects and coated glass applications. These projects increasingly rely on high-performance processing systems, reflected in the strong market interest in LiSEC’s TPA spacer technology, with multiple systems already sold and demand rising rapidly.
