HEGLA GmbH & Co. KG will participate in GLASKONGRESS 2026, taking place on 22–23 April at Kloster Haydau in Germany. The event, organized by Bundesverband Flachglas e. V., serves as a key meeting point for professionals from the glass industry, research institutions, and sector associations. It focuses on current developments and future-oriented topics shaping the glass and construction sectors.
At the congress, HEGLA will be present together with its laser processing specialist Thomas Rainer. The company will showcase advanced laser applications designed for bird protection glass and mobile-signal-permeable glass. A notable highlight is a retrofit solution that enables direct application onto already installed panes, eliminating the need for removal or complex installation processes.
The presentation aims to demonstrate how laser-based technologies can improve functionality while supporting sustainability and efficiency in modern glazing solutions. Industry visitors are expected to engage in discussions around innovation, material performance, and practical applications in real-world building environments.
HEGLA’s participation underlines its ongoing commitment to technological advancement in glass processing and its role in contributing to safer, more functional, and future-ready glazing systems for the built environment.
