Glaston Launches Quenching Blower Maintenance Service to Boost Reliability and Cut Energy Costs

Glaston has announced the launch of its new Quenching Blower Maintenance Service, a solution aimed at improving equipment reliability, reducing operational costs and preventing unexpected downtime in glass tempering operations.

The service offers a comprehensive maintenance package that combines regular inspections, continuous monitoring, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and access to essential spare parts. By identifying imbalances early, the service enables precise on-site corrections, helping manufacturers maintain consistent performance and avoid costly disruptions.

A key component of the offering is the use of certified technicians who carry out NDT every six months, in line with manufacturer recommendations. This proactive approach ensures that potential issues are detected well before they develop into serious faults such as bearing wear or impeller damage.

The service also delivers measurable energy efficiency benefits. Properly balanced blowers operate more effectively, reducing energy consumption and lowering overall operating costs. In addition, minimizing vibration and mechanical stress helps extend the lifespan of critical components.
