FHC Launches ReNew Programme for Frameless Shower Restoration

FHC (Frameless Hardware Company) has launched ReNew by FHC, a nationwide training and business development initiative designed to help glazing contractors and shower installers generate revenue by restoring and upgrading existing frameless shower enclosures without replacing the glass.

The programme targets an established market of shower enclosures in homes, hotels, condominiums, senior living facilities and other commercial properties. Rather than removing entire installations, ReNew focuses on retaining serviceable glass while improving functionality, appearance and safety through hardware upgrades, component replacement and glass restoration.

According to FHC shower hardware brand manager Danny Donahue, the initiative addresses an opportunity to extend the service life of existing enclosures while reducing the cost and disruption associated with complete replacement.

ReNew operates as a business development platform rather than solely a hardware product line. Participating technicians receive branded marketing materials, sales resources, product training and guidance on identifying restoration opportunities. The programme also includes FHC’s proprietary 10-Point Shower Health Audit, designed to help installers assess enclosure condition and recommend appropriate improvements.

Recommended services include retrofitting hydraulic shower hinges, installing FHC’s NEXT-GEN Shower Hinges and Hydraulic Series Shower Hinges, restoring and sealing glass, replacing silicone and seals, and upgrading decorative hardware finishes.
