Fensterbau Frontale 2026: Framing What’s Next

FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026

FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026 returns to Nürnberg, Germany, from 24–27 March 2026, once again positioning itself as the world’s leading meeting point for the windows, doors and façade industries. Running in parallel with HOLZ-HANDWERK, the trade fair will bring together system suppliers, fabricators, architects, façade engineers and decision-makers looking for practical answers to today’s construction challenges.

With exhibitor interest already reported as strong and an exhibition size comparable to the 2024 edition, the event is expected to deliver a high-energy mix of innovation, business networking and technical exchange, at a time when the market is under pressure to build faster, smarter and more sustainably.

The 2026 edition will focus on themes that directly reflect the industry’s direction, including energy-efficient renovation, serial and modular construction, recycling and circular economy, safety, and climate-resilient building methods. For many manufacturers and façade specialists, these topics are no longer “future trends”, they are now core requirements in projects across Europe.

A key new addition is the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE Stage, created as a central hub for trend insights, expert discussions, guided tours and the debut of the fair’s Innovation Award. The supporting programme also includes the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE Forum, where visitors can access practical industry knowledge and attend major recognitions such as Window Manufacturer of the Year 2026 and the MeisterAward.

For architects and specifiers, the Architecture–Windows–Facades Forum (26 March 2026) will explore the guiding theme “Balance – Building in Equilibrium”, with presentations covering modular efficiency, circular design and climate resilience.

With its refreshed identity and slogan “Framing what’s next”, Fensterbau Frontale 2026 is set to be more than a product showcase, it’s a roadmap for the next generation of high-performance building envelopes.
