EPPA, the European Trade Association of PVC Window System Suppliers, has entered a new phase of leadership following its Conference and General Assembly held in Brussels on 24–25 June 2026. The association announced the appointment of Andreas Hartleif, CEO of VEKA Group, as its new President, alongside Patrick Seitz of aluplast GmbH as Vice-President. The newly elected leadership team will guide EPPA’s efforts to strengthen the competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation of the European PVC window profile industry.
Hartleif brings decades of international industry experience and has long been an active supporter of EPPA’s work. Under his leadership, the association aims to reinforce its role as a trusted voice in European policymaking while addressing key challenges facing the construction and fenestration sectors. His priorities include promoting affordable housing, accelerating energy-efficient renovation projects, and supporting the transition to a circular economy through sustainable PVC window systems.
Speaking after his appointment, Hartleif emphasized the growing influence of EPPA in Brussels and highlighted the importance of ensuring that the technical expertise of its members continues to shape future European legislation. He expressed his commitment to building on the association’s recent progress by strengthening cooperation between industry stakeholders and policymakers to deliver practical solutions for Europe’s construction sector.
The association also expressed its appreciation to outgoing President Christian Fischer of Schüco for his leadership during the 2025–2026 mandate. EPPA credited Fischer with helping establish a strong foundation for the organization’s continued development and increasing recognition within European institutions.
With Andreas Hartleif as President and Patrick Seitz serving as Vice-President, EPPA enters a new chapter focused on advancing sustainable construction, industrial competitiveness, circularity, and high-quality housing across Europe. Supported by an engaged membership and a clear strategic direction, the association aims to further strengthen collaboration across the PVC window profile sector while contributing to the European Union’s long-term environmental and economic objectives.
