Crystal Window & Door System’s aluminum Series W50i Window Wall System has been recognized on Building Design+Construction (BD+C) Magazine’s 2025 Top 75 Building Products List, published in the November/December 2025 issue.
The annual BD+C list highlights newly introduced building products used in commercial new-build and renovation projects, spanning multiple construction categories. In the window and door category, the Series W50i stood out as one of only two window systems selected.
Products on the 2025 list were evaluated by a panel of architects, specifiers, engineers, and construction professionals, alongside the BD+C editorial team. Assessment criteria included overall value to project teams, performance and maintenance benefits for clients, impact on occupant health, safety, and productivity, and the level of innovation within the product category. The Series W50i scored strongly across all criteria.
Designed to replicate the appearance of a curtain wall, the Series W50i Window Wall System offers simplified handling, faster and safer installation, reduced on-site labor, and enhanced thermal performance, while remaining cost-effective. The system supports a wide range of design configurations, including operable windows and doors, spandrel glass, aluminum panels, slab-bypass modules, upgraded glazing options, and multiple finishes and hardware selections.
This marks the third Crystal product to be included on BD+C’s Top Products list in recent years, following recognition for the Series 1450 Swing Terrace Door and the Series AC85 Acoustic Casement Window.
