PeroCycle and Glass Futures Partner to Advance Industrial Decarbonisation

PeroCycle and Glass Futures have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to evaluate a strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating the development and industrial deployment of PeroCycle’s catalyst technology for decarbonisation.

The partnership will move the technology beyond its initial laboratory validation toward testing under real-world, high-temperature industrial conditions. Glass Futures will provide access to its pilot-scale research and testing infrastructure in St Helens, UK, creating a platform to evaluate catalyst and reactor performance in operational environments.

The proposed programme includes batch manufacturing of PeroCycle’s proprietary catalyst, prototype testing and the integration of a pilot module with active glass, ceramic or combustion testing systems. These activities are intended to generate the operational data required to optimise the technology and support its transition towards commercial deployment.

According to PeroCycle CEO Grant Budge, the collaboration provides the scaling platform needed to validate and improve the technology under industrial conditions. Glass Futures CEO Justin Kelly said the partnership reflects the organisation’s role in helping innovative technologies progress from laboratory development to industrial-scale demonstration.

The evaluation period is expected to run for six months. During this time, the two organisations will establish technical and operational frameworks before determining the basis for definitive commercial agreements.
