GlassBuild America 2026 reaches its final day today, September 25, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, bringing three days of new technologies, machinery and product launches for the glass, window and door industries to a close. The exhibition runs until 1:00 p.m. local time today, following two full days of activity on September 23–24.
More than 500 exhibitors are participating, with more than 9,600 industry professionals reported in attendance.
Among the technologies highlighted this week are prefabricated skylight systems, thin insulating glass, advanced security glazing and automated production technologies. Kingspan Light + Air presented pre-assembled KlearSky skylights, designed to move more fabrication and glazing work from the construction site into a controlled factory environment.
Glaston and Corning showcased thin triple and quadruple IGUs using Corning Enlighten ultra-thin glass, with center lites as thin as 0.5 mm. Glaston says the thin triple configuration can deliver up to 20% better insulation than conventional double IGUs while maintaining similar overall thickness and weight. 
Security was another major focus. United States Bullet Proofing introduced window and door systems combining ICC 500-2023 and FEMA P-361-2024 storm protection with UL 752 ballistic protection.
The show’s new Innovation Lounge also placed robotics, AI, sustainability, connected manufacturing and architectural glass at the center of this year’s technology program.
