Pilkington Polska, part of NSG Group, has appointed BOHAMET S.A. as its exclusive European partner for the sale of glass manufactured using Pilkington DataStop™ technology, a specialised solution designed to reduce the transmission of electromagnetic radiation.
The collaboration combines Pilkington’s glass manufacturing expertise in Poland with BOHAMET’s nearly four decades of experience in glass processing and the production of ship windows and doors. The partnership will focus on expanding access to DataStop™ glass for applications where electromagnetic shielding and data protection are critical.
Pilkington DataStop™ is intended for environments including offices, server rooms and other facilities where sensitive information and electronic equipment require additional protection against unwanted electromagnetic radiation. The technology provides shielding through specialised glass construction while maintaining the functional requirements of architectural glazing.
BOHAMET operates three production facilities. Its operations include the manufacture of ship windows and doors, aluminium and glass structures, and dedicated glass processing. The company has continued to develop its production capabilities to meet increasingly specialised customer requirements. 
According to Magdalena Skoczyńska, Sales Director at Pilkington Polska, the partnership combines Pilkington’s technology and glass production capabilities with BOHAMET’s processing expertise and customer relationships.
