Weatherglaze Invests in Graf Synergy Seamless Welding Technology

Weatherglaze Windows has strengthened its position as a leading PVC-U trade fabricator in Ireland with a major investment in three Graf Synergy seamless welding machines supplied by Haffner.

The Gorey, County Wexford-based manufacturer has purchased one Graf Synergy SL8-FF TR CNC eight-head welding machine and two SL4-FF EVO seamless welders. The investment makes Weatherglaze the first company in the UK and Ireland to receive the new SL8-FF TR and the first Irish fabricator to introduce Graf Synergy seamless welding technology.

Manufacturing Aluplast PVC-U systems, including Ideal 70, flush sash neo plus, HST85 lift-and-slide, Neo Smart-Slide and Aero-Slide, Weatherglaze will use the technology to improve production efficiency and finished aesthetics.

Graf Synergy’s V-Perfect technology produces seamless welded corners without the need for traditional corner cleaning, penning or cosmetic finishing. This is particularly beneficial for Aluplast’s premium Woodec and Aludec foils, where precise corner detailing supports the appearance of timber and aluminium finishes.

The SL8-FF TR can weld all four frame corners and two transoms simultaneously in a single operation, while the two SL4-FF EVO machines provide additional seamless welding capacity.

Weatherglaze has also become the first Irish fabricator to introduce Aluplast’s Energeto Neo system, combining advanced PVC-U performance with seamless fabrication.
