Glaston has announced the appointment of Lisa Zhang as Vice President, Sales & Service for China and Southeast Asia, effective July 1, 2026. In her new role, Zhang will report directly to Glaston President and CEO Miika Äppelqvist and will oversee both sales and service operations across two of the company’s most strategically important growth markets.

The appointment marks a significant step in Glaston’s efforts to strengthen its regional presence and enhance customer support throughout China and Southeast Asia, where demand for advanced glass processing technologies continues to rise. By integrating sales and service leadership under one regional structure, Glaston aims to provide customers with a more seamless experience throughout the lifecycle of their investments, from equipment purchases and upgrades to maintenance, spare parts and performance optimization services.

Zhang transitions into the role from her current position as Sales Director, China, where she has played a key role in expanding Glaston’s customer relationships and service capabilities. With more than two decades of experience in the glass industry, she brings extensive market knowledge and a deep understanding of customer requirements. She previously worked for Glaston between 2006 and 2012 before rejoining the company in 2018 to lead the China sales organization.

Commenting on her appointment, Zhang highlighted the opportunities for continued regional growth, emphasizing Glaston’s strong reputation, advanced technologies and commitment to customer support. She noted that the company is well positioned to help customers meet increasing production demands through high-quality glass processing solutions and localized technical expertise.

In her new role, Zhang will work closely with teams in both Glaston China and Glaston Singapore, focusing on strengthening customer engagement, expanding business opportunities and delivering enhanced service support across the region.
