The historic crystal manufacturer Val Saint-Lambert is celebrating two centuries of craftsmanship with a bicentenary inaugural weekend at its factory in Seraing, Belgium, on April 11–12, 2026.
Founded in 1826, the renowned crystal house has played a significant role in Belgium’s industrial and artistic heritage. Over the past 200 years, Val Saint-Lambert has become internationally recognized for its handcrafted crystal pieces, combining traditional glassmaking techniques with refined design and craftsmanship.
The upcoming anniversary weekend will mark the official start of a year-long programme of celebrations dedicated to the brand’s rich legacy. The event will be open to the public and free of charge, inviting visitors to discover the history and artistry behind one of Europe’s most iconic crystal manufacturers.
During the two-day celebration, the factory site will host a wide range of activities, including live glassblowing demonstrations that showcase the skill and precision of master craftsmen. Visitors will also enjoy live music performances, food trucks, and a festive atmosphere throughout the historic production site.
