Vitro Architectural Glass has unveiled the newest version of its TechQuest AI™ Virtual Assistant, first introduced to the public in June 2025. The upgraded tool now doubles its source material and searchable parameters, offering an expanded knowledge base for the glass and construction industry.
Powered by GPT-4o mini, TechQuest AI™ delivers instant, 24/7 responses with improved prompts and faster query handling. It integrates an enlarged repository from the Vitro Glass Education Center, covering product performance data such as visible light transmittance (VLT), solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC), U-values, color options, and coating specifications. Users can also access environmental performance insights, including low-e coatings, bird-friendly glass solutions, and strategies for reducing embodied carbon.
Beyond product data, TechQuest AI™ provides design tools, installation guidelines, and application best practices for commercial, residential, and specialty glass projects. It also centralizes sustainability resources, highlighting Vitro’s initiatives in recycling, energy efficiency, and LEED® support.
The assistant now allows users to locate and directly contact their regional Vitro representative, streamlining project communication.
