Vitro Architectural Glass has enhanced its VitroSphere® Digital Glass Simulator, giving architects and designers greater flexibility in visualizing façade solutions.
Launched in 2022, VitroSphere® enables users to explore over 20 Solarban® low-e glass products across multiple building types, with simulations under sunny, overcast and nighttime conditions. The tool highlights transparency, reflectance and color, while offering zoom and comparison features for close evaluation.
The latest updates add Solarban® 65 glass, Spandrelite™ glass in black, warm gray and white, and faster access to Revit files, product data sheets and samples. Spandrelite™ views enhance office and multi-family project designs, while future refinements will introduce BirdSmart® Bird Safe Glass to support bird-friendly building initiatives.
VitroSphere® also connects to Vitro’s Construct an IGU and emissions™ Calculator, streamlining specification. Winner of a 2023 R&D 100 Award, VitroSphere® continues to set new standards in digital glass design.
