Vitro Architectural Glass is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Plotnick from Commercial Account Manager to Manager of International Sales.
This strategic move reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing its global sales capabilities and better serving its international clientele.
In his new role, Plotnick will lead a dedicated sales team that includes Khaled Raslan, Senior Architectural Manager for the UAE, and Roy Goh, Architectural Manager for the ASEAN region. Additionally, he will continue to provide support to customers in the New England states and Western Europe, ensuring a seamless transition and continued excellence in service across multiple markets.
Mark Seeton, Vice President of Sales at Vitro Architectural Glass, praised Plotnick’s contributions since he joined the company in 2019. “Daniel made an immediate impact when he joined Vitro and has done a fantastic job executing across multiple sales territories,” Seeton stated. “He’s always ready and willing to take on more responsibilities and delivers. We know he’s built to succeed in this expanded sales role, which will help our current and new international customers meet their needs and goals.”
Plotnick’s extensive experience in the industry has equipped him with a deep understanding of the diverse markets Vitro serves. Over the years, he has provided invaluable sales and service support to fabricators and glaziers in the New England region, including the New York City metro area, as well as in various areas across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Vitro, Plotnick served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Solar Seal, bringing over 25 years of commercial sales experience to his new position. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
This promotion comes on the heels of the retirement announcement of Glenn Davis, the longtime Vice President of International Sales, who is leaving Vitro after 41 years of dedicated service. Davis’s legacy and contributions have laid a strong foundation for the company’s international operations, and Plotnick is poised to build upon this success as he steps into his new role.
As Vitro Architectural Glass continues to expand its global reach, Plotnick’s leadership will be instrumental in driving growth and fostering relationships with customers around the world. The company looks forward to the innovative strategies and insights he will bring to the international sales team, ensuring that Vitro remains a leader in the architectural glass industry.
