Nikolaus SORG, a global leader in advanced glass furnace technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Sebastian Woltz as its new Sales Manager, effective January 1, 2025. Dr.
Woltz will succeed Alexander Sorg, who has served as interim Sales Manager. This strategic appointment underscores SORG’s commitment to continued growth and market leadership within the international glass industry.
Dr. Woltz brings a wealth of experience to this crucial role. Since 2018, he has served as Head of Sales at EME, a fellow SORG Group company and a leading provider of batch and cullet handling technology. His proven track record in sales and market strategy within the glass sector makes him ideally suited to lead Nikolaus SORG’s sales efforts.
The transition at EME is equally seamless. Thorsten Christ will assume the role of Head of Sales, replacing Dr. Woltz. Mr. Christ joined EME in July 2024 and possesses extensive experience in glass production, encompassing sales and project planning for batch and cullet processing systems. His expertise will ensure the continued success and market dominance of EME.
